If you're looking for long tire life...you own the wrong car. In my experience, even aggressive street driving (i.e. no track use, no burnouts or other stunting) will wear out a set in under 10k miles...possibly less, even with fresh struts and correct alignment. The sizes on the TT Z restrict you to high performance (i.e. soft) tires, but within that category, some wear a bit faster than others. Among the faster wearing group: the AVS (sorry), Bridgestone RE730, and Dunlop SP8000. The (slightly) longer lasting choices include the Goodyear Eagle HP Ultra Plus, the Dunlop Sport 5000, and Pirelli P7000 SuperSport. These opinions are based on personal experience with all of the listed tires on various sports coupes and sports cars, including the TT Z. Hope this helps.
